W.H. Lung
Le trio pétillant trio de synthpop et krautrock W.H. Lung, basé à Manchester, a fait irruption sur la scène musicale en 2017, avec la sortie du single « Inspiration!/Nothing Is. »
Conçu à l’origine comme un projet studio par des camarades de classe, Joseph E (chant, synthés), Tom S (guitare) et Tom P (basse), le trio est rapidement passé aux live et performances en direct dès ses débuts, sur les scènes de festivals britanniques, dont Greenman et End of the Road. Inspirés par des artistes comme LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, Prince et Julia Holter, pour n’en nommer que quelques-uns, les membres sont retournés en studio pour travailler sur leur premier album Incidental Music (2019).
Deux ans plus tard, ils nous ont offert l’album Vanities, entre inspiration dancefloor et syntpop des années 80.

The sparkling synth pop and Motorik Krautrock of Manchester-based three-piece W.H. Lung first burst onto the music scene in 2017, with the release of the single « Inspiration!/Nothing Is.« .
Originally conceived as a studio-based project by schoolfriends, Joseph E (vocals, synths), Tom S (guitar), and Tom P (bass), the trio quickly became sought after for live shows and performances off the back of their 2017 debut, playing stages at British festivals including Greenman and End of the Road. Drawing their inspiration from the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, Prince and Julia Holter, to name but a few, the three-piece returned to the studio to start work on their debut album. Distilling their influences into the album, the resulting Incidental Music was released in early 2019, preceded by the singles « Bring It Up« , « Second Death of My Face« ,and « Simpatico People. »
Two years later, they came back with the album Vanities, between dancefloor inspiration and 80s synthpop.
