Uffie est le projet de l’artiste et icône de mode Anna-Catherine Hartley, basée à Los Angeles, anciennement signée sur Ed Banger Records, où elle a fait la connaissance de producteurs légendaires de la scène électronique française du début des années 2000. Sa carrière a connu de nombreux succès, notamment son premier tube viral intitulé « Pop The Glock », qui a été publié à l’origine sur MySpace et a lancé sa célébrité dans l’ère Bloghouse de la musique de danse. Elle a collaboré avec le duo électronique français Justice sur « TThhEe PPaARRtTYY », qui figure sur leur album Cross, nommé aux Grammy Awards en 2007. Son premier album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, a été nommé aux Victoires de la Musique pour le meilleur album électronique en 2010. Elle a depuis collaboré avec Pharrell Williams, Charli XCX, Galantis et Mr. Oizo, pour ne citer qu’eux. Uffie est revenue en 2018 avec son premier single « Drugs » issu de son EP Tokyo Love Hotel. Muse du monde de l’art, elle a collaboré avec Jam Sutton l’année dernière sur une statue en marbre et une expérience d’IA, accompagnée de son titre « Ego ». Récemment signée sur Company Records de Toro y Moi, elle se prépare à un tout nouveau chapitre de sa carrière d’artiste. Elle écrit actuellement pour et avec d’autres artistes, notamment Sega Bodega, Blessed Madonna, Pink, Khalid, Greyson Chance, Blu DeTiger, VINCINT, Tegan & Sara.

Uffie is the project of the Los Angeles-based artist and fashion icon Anna-Catherine Hartley, formerly signed to Ed Banger Records, where she became acquainted with legendary producers of the early 2000s French electronic music scene. Her career spanned many successes including her first viral hit song called “Pop The Glock,” which was originally posted on MySpace and launched her fame in the Bloghouse era of dance music. She collaborated with the French electronic duo Justice on “TThhEe PPaARRtTYY,” which appeared on their Grammy nominated album Cross in 2007. Her debut album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, was nominated at the French Victoires de la Musique for Best Electronic Album in 2010. She has since collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Charli XCX, Galantis, and Mr. Oizo, to name a few. Uffie returned in 2018 with her debut single “Drugs” from her EP Tokyo Love Hotel. A muse to the art world, she collaborated with Jam Sutton last year on a marble statue and A.I. experience, accompanied by her track “Ego.” Newly signed to Toro y Moi’s Company Records, she is gearing up for a brand new chapter in her artist career. She is currently writing for and with other artists including Sega Bodega, Blessed Madonna, Pink, Khalid, Greyson Chance, Blu DeTiger, VINCINT, Tegan & Sara.
