Johanna Warren est une multi-instrumentiste et productrice qui a commencé sa carrière en tant que chanteuse dans le groupe de folk psyché ‘Sticklips’. En 2013, Johanna se lance en solo et depuis, l’artiste a sorti cinq albums. Son dernier opus en date, ’Chaotic Good’ représente un moment de rupture dans la carrière de l’artiste alors qu’elle s’éloigne du travail silencieux et folk qui l’a propulsé sur le devant de la scène. Son dernier single ‘Bed of Nails’ illustre parfaitement cette prise de conscience lorsque l’artiste chante: « j’ai essayé un peu trop d’être moi-même; ça m’a transformé en quelqu’un d’autre ». Au cours des dernières années, Warren a tourné aux côtés de Julie Byrne, Marissa Nadler ou encore Mitski.

Johanna Warren is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who began her career as asinger/songwriter in the Brooklyn-based psych folk band Sticklips. The group released twoalbums before disbanding in 2012, and after a stint performing backup vocals for Iron & Wine,Warren self-released her debut solo album,Fates,in 2013. The album prompted her to tournationally under her own name, and since then, she’s led a nomadic existence, calling citiesacross the United States home for short periods of time.Over the past few years, Warren has toured alongside Mitski, Julie Byrne, and Marissa Nadler,but a life on the road hasn’t slowed her output. In 2015, she released her sophomore albumnūmūnto acclaim, propelling her to the forefront of artists to watch in the second half of thedecade.
