Internet Girl est véritablement une nouvelle sensation. Depuis leurs débuts en 2019, ce trio a réussi à se faire un nom en tant que nouveau genre de boys band, mélangeant l’attitude grunge d’un groupe live avec une production fraîche et excitante. Au fil des années, ces artistes sud-africains ont su créer une palette sonore unique en son genre, avec des fanbases internationales en pleine croissance et des collaborations qui renforcent constamment leur présence en ligne. Le chanteur principal, Ntsika, apporte une histoire de passage à l’âge adulte, confiante (et souvent provocante), à la production punk/électronique de neese et griggs, faisant des garçons l’un des groupes les plus exaltants et déroutants à émerger d’Afrique en ce moment.

Internet Girl is truly a new sensation. Since their start in 2019, the trio has managed to make a name for themselves as a new kind of boyband, blending the grungey attitude of a live band with fresh and exciting production. Over the years the South African artists have managed to curate a sonic palette unlike anything else in their space, with growing international fanbases and collaborations continually building their online traction. Lead vocalist, Ntsika, brings a confident (and often confrontational) coming of age story to the punk/electronic inspired production of neese and griggs making the boys one of the most exhilarating and jarring acts coming out of africa right now.
